First Post of 2021

I don’t want to take up too much of your time. I only want to wish you all a happy first month of 2021 and bring you up-to-date on the happenings in our family’s household. Praying that everyone is staying positive and looking forward to what this year has to bring.

1. Still pregnant, HAHA. Much to my surprise, we celebrate his due date, today. I could have sworn he was coming early but since I have been able to relax a little, he has been able too as well. As much as we are sooo ready to meet him, I am a firm believer the longer he hangs out the easier his transition will be. With that being said, hang out as long as you need lil dude, I’ll try and wait patiently.
2. Which brings me to my next point, HUBBY IS HOMEEEEEEEE! Hence the being able to relax. Life is infinitely better when that man is in it. The girl’s are over the moon to have him home and I feel like I can breath again.
3. I’ve been cleared for my home birth!!!! But, not without a little help. My midwife and hematologist I’ve been seeing regularly, have me on twice weekly infusion treatments to help level out my blood work. So-far-so-good and as much as I hate the process and the hours in the hospital alone, it IS making me feel so much better. Hallelujah Now, we play the waiting game.
4. Mister man’s room is under construction- With baby boy having stayed put, we decided to put the “extra” time to good use and actually set up his room. The house was in complete disarray with all of lil mans stuff spread out in the living room and kitchen {no big deal, just where I am supposed to deliver him}. But, we are finally putting on the finishing touches and putting it back together! **** Stay tuned because the next post will be all about his room and trust me, its a good one you will not want to miss…that is if he doesn’t make his debut first.
