We met at Stage Coach, a county music festival. I was wearing an over the top country get up, as was he. The temperature was over 100 degrees so I can’t say our outfits were completely out of line but definitely ridiculous.
Apparently, he saw me from afar and told his friends “if I don’t try and talk to this girl, I am going to regret it.” (SWOON, right!?!?) I, myself was in my own little world, dancing around like a lunatic.
As he approached me he was at a loss for words, (So he says) all that came out of his mouth was… Get this… “ppphhhsshhhhhh.” I turned to look at him confused by the remark and replied, “Excuse me.” He AGAIN said “ppphhssshhhh,” in which I responded with “I’m sorry but if you would like to speak with me you are going to have to form a full sentence,” I turned on my heels and began to walk away. He quickly spat out “aaaaaa…. My name is Frankie.” Of course I turned around with a hint of annoyance but relieved he wasn’t illiterate. I introduced myself (I mean, he was crazy handsome ๐ I couldn’t resist. ๐
After talking a bit, we realized we both lived, for over a year, down the street from one another. Timing really is everything. We danced all night, rode the Ferris wheel and we parted ways by me simply saying, “If we are supposed to see each other again, we will.” I skipped off, telling myself I’d let God lead the way. After that first night, we ran into each other the next couple of days immediately after entering the venue, in the midst of thousands of people. Coincidence… I think not!
And the rest is history!
And YUP, you may have guessed it by the stunning photo featured… we are THAT couple #relationshipgoals
